Layla Francis is a fashion designer from Cape May, New Jersey, and a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned her B.F.A. in Fashion Design Cum Laude.

Her work explores the relationship between luxury, sustainability, and craftsmanship, with a focus on circular design and the way value is assigned to materials. Through natural and thoughtfully selected textiles, responsible construction methods, and an emphasis on longevity, she creates clothing that considers both the person wearing it and the world it exists within.

At the center of Layla’s work is the woman wearing it. Her designs celebrate individuality and the female form, creating pieces intended to make women feel confident and entirely themselves.

In 2021, Layla founded LLL Brand, a womenswear label through which she began her career as both a designer and entrepreneur. The experience of building the brand ultimately shaped her desire to question conventional systems of fashion production and explore how clothing can be created more responsibly.
