Fearless Form is my 2026 Fashion Scholarship Fund Design & Product Development case study, developed as a conceptual collaboration between Schiaparelli and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

I began the project by personally interviewing breast cancer survivors about their experiences with post-surgical garments, including what felt uncomfortable, limiting, or missing during recovery. Their perspectives shaped the direction of the collection and reinforced how much clothing can affect confidence, identity, and the way someone feels in their body after surgery.

Inspired by Schiaparelli’s surrealist heritage, I reimagined recovery wear as something that could be functional, supportive, and still feel beautiful. The project included consumer and material research, concept development, technical design, and garment solutions intended to support healing without asking women to sacrifice femininity or self-expression.

At its core, Fearless Form is about designing beyond function alone and recognizing the emotional role clothing can play in helping someone feel like themselves again.
