rEINVENTION OF THE WHITE SHIRTCLO 3D Project
This project reimagines the classic white button-down as a versatile garment with built-in adaptability. Shoulder pleats can be unbuttoned to shift the silhouette, allowing the wearer to choose between a structured, fitted look or a relaxed fit with elongated sleeves.
Using CLO 3D, Layla developed the patterns, constructed the first prototype, created the tech pack, and produced digital editorial imagery. The design reflects her philosophy of empowering women through adaptable clothing while reducing fashion’s environmental footprint—transforming a single shirt into two distinct styles.
