Senior BFA Collection

Gilded Faults is a womenswear collection centered around reconstruction, longevity, and intentional design. Inspired by kintsugi and the beauty of natural processes of erosion and change, the collection explores the beauty found in imperfection, wear, and transformation over time.

The work challenges cycles of overconsumption by emphasizing versatility, craftsmanship, and durability. Each garment was developed through draping, hand manipulation, and minimal waste pattern cutting, with a focus on natural materials and thoughtful construction methods. Reworked lace off-cuts sourced from French textile houses were hand dyed and reconstructed piece by piece, creating one-of-a-kind textiles that cannot be mass produced.

Rather than concealing process, Gilded Faults embraces it. The collection positions human craftsmanship as a form of luxury:valuing time, intention, and longevity over speed and excess.
